Joseph Doss is the founder of PRO Wealth Planning LLC; a fee-based wealth planning company located in Germantown, TN. Joseph was born in Memphis where he was a standout high school athlete in football and track & field before moving on to the University of Memphis to play running back. He finished his collegiate career as the Team Captain and the 4th all-time leading rusher in school history. After college, Joseph played American Football abroad for two years before he returned to the United States to join the wealth advisory industry.

Joseph has over 10 years of experience serving clients and 5 years of managment experience, serving as a Managing Director at one of the industry leading financial services companies. He has focused on building a company centered around educational clarity, integrity of client’s needs, and value focused results. He works diligently with entrepreneurs, entertainers, business professionals, professional athletes and coaches. Wealth often comes with unique challenges. Joseph’s distinctive advisory experience combined with his sports background provides him with the awareness and ability to handle critical situations with wisdom, poise, precision, and adaptability-serving the universal financial needs of his clients.  

Outside of practice, Joseph loves to spend time with his wife Molly and their three children-Charlotte, Lyla, & JD. Joseph enjoys attending sporting events, traveling, a good beach and a good book. Joseph is also actively involved in charitable programs that focuses on financial literacy for children and breast cancer awareness for women.

Professional Certifications & Designations

Joseph has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Finance. He has the Series 7, 65, 6, & 63 licenses held through LPL Financial. He has also earned the Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management (SE-AWMA™) designation that provides advisors with the specialized knowledge to help high-net-worth clients in sports and entertainment capitalize on opportunities to preserve, grow, and transfer their wealth.

Joseph also has the Behavioral Finance Advisor (BFA™) designation. Delivering on the value of behavioral finance and emotional competence, Joseph distinguishes himself by doing more than just managing money, but by adding holistic value to clients by helping them make rational, values-based decisions with their money. It is through this differentiation that Joseph continues to deliver value to clients by helping them achieve their goals in alignment with their values.
